Welcome to stunning Costa Rica, ecologically diverse, geologically thrilling, and packed with flora and fauna as fascinating as the people. Your eight days here will fly by—literally, with you strapped into “Sky Trek,” a series of zip lines soaring 500 feet above the rainforest. This is the trip for adrenaline-loving adventurers. From dawn to dusk, you will accomplish unbelievable feats like paddling the famous Yorkin River in a dugout canoe, rappelling down breathtaking rainforest waterfalls, witnessing the spectacle of one of the world’s ten most active volcanoes, and trekking the rainforest to take a dip in a waterfall pool. You will feel like a local as you shake hands with the indigenous Bribri people, learn their culture in their rainforest paradise, discover the rainforest's unbelievable diversity of medicinal plants, work with scientist helping to rehabilitate endangered sloths, and last but not least, witness the mesmerizing ritual of leatherback turtles laying eggs on a moonlit beach. In just eight days, you‘ll do more than some people do in 80 years!
