Discovery Student Adventures believes in making a difference in education—from donating school supplies, to providing exceptional global travel. This past summer, our travelers visited local schools and reached out to students in need by donating supplies.
Giving back to students in need
In 2012, Discovery Student Adventures travelers will again have an opportunity to hand-deliver school supplies, which will be selected based on each school's specific needs.
From pencils and notebooks, to chalk and erasers, students and teachers will donate up to $10,000 in supplies next year to schools in Costa Rica, China, South Africa, and Ecuador.
